History of Freethought Arizona
In the beginning:
October 2004, Zachary Minor described the idea of a Southern Arizona branch of CFI to a group of about 50 people.
A month later in November 2004, Jerry Karches and Paul Taylor met with the group as the beginning of CFI-SAZ. Our series of monthly meetings and lectures have continued to the present talks that promote our cultural and political goals.
As Freethought Arizona, we endorse the goals of the Center For Inquiry, but we are an independent 501c3 nonprofit corporation. We are pleased to accept donations and endowments. All paid dues, donations, and endowments are tax deductible for IRS purposes and will be used to further our mission. We are a growing organization.
